Visual Studio Code Version 1.0 ist ab sofort verfügbar


Microsoft hat über das offizielle Visual Studio Code-Blog die sofortige Verfügbarkeit des auf der Entwickler-Konferenz Build 2015 in San Francisco erstmalig vorgestellten Open-Source-Code-Editors für Linux, OS X oder Windows namens Visual Studio Code in der finalen Version bekannt gegeben. Damit stellt Microsoft einen Code-Editor, der nicht nur unter Windows, sondern auch unter OS X und Linux entwickelt. Die finale Version von Visual Studio Code ist in verschiedenen Sprachen erhältlich, auch mit einer deutschsprachigen Benutzeroberfläche. Der Open-Source-Code-Editor für Linux, OS X oder Windows ist ein Editor zum Entwickeln und Debuggen von Cloud- und Webanwendungen. Anders als Visual Studio arbeitet Visual Studio Code nicht auf Basis von Projektdateien, sondern auf Datei- und Ordner-Ebene.
