Microsoft hat im Laufe des gestrigen Abends ein weiteres Sicherheitsupdate für Office für Mac 2011 veröffentlicht und zum sofortigen Download freigegeben. Mit diesem Update werden kritische Probleme behoben und die Sicherheit erhöht. Es enthält Korrekturen für Sicherheitslücken, die von einem Angreifer zum Überschreiben der Inhalte des Arbeitsspeichers Ihres Computers mit Malware ausgenutzt werden können. Darüber hinaus verbessert das Update auch die Stabilität und Leistung der Software und stellt die neusten Fixes bereit. Das knapp 120 Megabyte große Update auf die Version 14.5.3 erfordert einen Mac mit OS X Version 10.5.8 oder eine höhere Version von Mac OS X sowie Office 2011 für Mac mit SP1 oder höher und kann ab sofort sowohl über die integrierte Software-Aktualisierung als auch im Microsoft Download Center geladen und installiert werden.
