Microsoft hat im Laufe der Woche das im Rahmen des Patchday für August 2022 angekündigte Update mit der Versions-Nummer 16.64 für Office 365, 2019 und 2021 für macOS veröffentlicht. Das Update enthält eine Reihe von Neuerungen, Korrekturen sowie Leistungsverbesserungen und wird in den nächsten Tagen automatisch verteilt. Es steht sowohl für Office 2019 für macOS, Office 2021 für macOS und Office LTSC 2021 für macOS, die als einmaliger Kauf oder über einen Volumenlizenzvertrag erhältlich sind als auch für das in einem Abonnement enthaltene Microsoft 365 für Mac bereit, wobei die Neuerungen nur für Microsoft 365 erhältlich sind. Dieses Update enthält auch diverse Bug Fixes sowie wichtige Sicherheitsupdates und wird allen Benutzern empfohlen. Einige in den Versionshinweisen aufgeführte Funktionen sind nur verfügbar, wenn du über ein Microsoft 365-Abonnement verfügst.

Das Update auf die Version 16.64 setzt ein Mac mit macOS 10.15 Catalina und höher voraus und kann sowohl über AutoUpdate als auch direkt bei Microsoft geladen werden. Um AutoUpdate zu verwenden, starte eine Office App und klicke im Menü oben auf Hilfe -> Nach Updates suchen. Wenn du Office 365 für macOS verwendest, solltest du das Update demnächst erhalten.
