Microsoft hat im Rahmen des Patchday für August auch 20 Updates für Office 2013 veröffentlicht und zum sofortigen Download freigegeben. Neben den üblichen nicht sicherheitsrelevanten Updates, befindet sich auch das Sicherheitsupdate MS15-081. Das Sicherheitsupdate behebt Sicherheitslücken in Word 2013, Excel 2013, PowerPoint 2013, Visio 2013 und Skype für Business 2015 die Remotecodeausführung ermöglichen können, wenn eine gestaltete Office-Datei geöffnet oder angezeigt wird. Die nicht sicherheitsrelevanten Updates betreffen Office 2013, Outlook 2013, OneNote 2013, Access 2013, OneDrive für Business 2015 und Project 2013, stellen die neuesten Fixes bereit und verbessern die Stabilität und Leistung. Die Updates wurden am 11. August 2015 veröffentlicht und können ab sofort über Microsoft Update geladen werden.
