Microsoft hat im Rahmen des Patchday für Juni 2018 ein Update Rollup für Windows Server 2012 veröffentlicht. Das Update Rollup KB4284855 enthält Verbesserungen und Korrekturen, die Teil des Updates KB4103719 vom 17. Mai 2018 waren. Es umfasst Sicherheitsupdates für Windows Apps, Windows Storage und Dateisysteme, Windows Server und Windows Wireless Networking. Außerdem wird ein Problem behoben, bei dem Firmware-Updates dazu führen können, dass Geräte in den BitLocker-Wiederherstellungsmodus wechseln, wenn BitLocker aktiviert ist, aber Secure Boot nicht vorhanden ist. Dieses Update verhindert die Installation der Firmware auf Geräten in diesem Zustand. Microsoft sind derzeit keine Probleme mit diesem Update bekannt. This security update includes improvements and fixes that were a part of update KB4103719 (released May 17, 2018) and addresses the following issues:
- Addresses an issue where firmware updates cause devices to go into BitLocker recovery mode when BitLocker is enabled, but Secure Boot is disabled not present. This update prevents firmware installation on devices in this state. Administrators can install firmware updates by:
- Temporarily suspending BitLocker.
- Immediately installing firmware updates before the next OS startup.
- Immediately restarting the device so that BitLocker doesn’t remain in the suspended state.
- Security updates to Internet Explorer, Windows apps, Windows storage and filesystems, Windows Server, and Windows wireless networking.
