Microsoft hat im Laufe des gestrigen Abends die Verfügbarkeit von nicht sicherheitsrelevanten Updates für Office 2010, 2013 und 2016 über das Office Blog angekündigt. Bei allen Updates, die im Teil 1 des Patchday für April 2018 veröffentlicht wurden, handelt es sich um optionale Updates. Solche Updates müssen nicht unbedingt installiert werden, auch wenn die Installation empfohlen wird. Die Updates stellen die neuesten Fixes für Office 2010, 2013 und 2016 bereit, außerdem verbessern sie die Stabilität und Leistung der Software. Die Updates wurden am Dienstag, den 03. April 2018 veröffentlicht und können ab sofort geladen werden. Alle Updates aus dem Microsoft Download Center sind nur für die MSI-basierte Edition von Office bestimmt.
