Ankündigung zu Windows Essential Business Server (EBS) 2008
Microsoft hat am 5. März 2010 die Entscheidung bekannt gegeben, ab dem 30. Juni 2010 die integrierte Serverlösung Windows Essential Business Server (EBS) nicht mehr anzubieten. Diese Entscheidung hat keine Auswirkungen auf andere Windows Server-Produkte und -Lösungen, etwa die nächste Version von Windows Small Business Server (SBS). Die in der Lösung enthaltenen Einzelprodukte werden selbstverständlich weiterhin angeboten.
