The Final Version of the Presentation Companion 1.0 for Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 or Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 is now available as a free Download from the Microsoft Download Center.

Using Presentation Companion 1.0 for PowerPoint 2010 or PowerPoint 2007, you can use Microsoft Office PowerPoint® Mobile on your Windows® phone to control a PowerPoint presentation on your laptop.

After downloading Presentation Companion and installing it on your laptop, it works together with the Presentation Companion feature in Microsoft Office Mobile 2010.

Using Presentation Companion, you can:

  • Control the presentation on your laptop from your Windows® phone.
  • View speaker notes on your Windows® phone as you control the presentation.

Operating Instructions

Do the following to control the presentation on your laptop from your Windows phone.

On the Laptop

  1. Open the PowerPoint file you plan to present.
  2. On the Office Ribbon Add-in tab, click Start Presentation Companion.

On the Phone

  1. Copy the PowerPoint file to the Windows® phone using e-mail, Bluetooth, or a storage card.
  2. Open the PowerPoint file.
  3. On the menu, tap Presentation Companion.
  4. When the Bluetooth wizard opens, follow the instructions to connect to your laptop.
