Der Computerhersteller Apple hat gerade eben eine neue Version des eigenen Webbrowsers Safari für Mac OS X Lion, Mac OS X Snow Leopard, Windows 7, Vista und XP veröffentlicht und zum Download bereitgestellt. Das Update mit der Versionsnummer 5.1.4 kann ab sofort über Apple Software Update oder über Apples Support Downloadseite geladen und installiert werden. Safari ist ein Webbrowser, der Sie dabei unterstützt, Webseiten zu finden, anzuzeigen und mit ihnen zu interagieren. Safari dient der optimalen Anzeige von Webseiten. Daher finden Sie in dem Programm nur sehr wenige Steuerelemente wie z. B. eine Bildlaufleiste, die nur bei Bedarf angezeigt wird.
